Our Menus

In 2011, Mid-America Nutrition Program, Inc. was accredited by Meals on Wheels America (MOWA). This accreditation means that we have met the nation’s highest standards as a Meals on Wheels program. The accreditation process looked not only at the quality of our meal service, but also at our fiscal management and human resource management. It is an honor achieved by few programs across the United States.

CHEFS program

Mid-America Nutrition Program is pleased to offer a dining opportunity called CHEFS, a program for adults 60 or older.

What is the CHEFS program?

CHEFS, which stands for Choosing Healthy Eats For Seniors, is offered through the Older Americans Act, a federally funded program, and the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services, in partnership with Pizza Village in Ottawa.

Through the program, seniors may receive nutritious meals at the restaurant at times different than the regular nutrition sites offer.

How do I enroll in the CHEFS program?

To learn more and register for this new program for seniors, enrollment sessions are offered at the Ottawa Senior Center (130 S. Main Street) from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday.

How much does a CHEFS meal cost?

The suggested donation is $4.00 per meal. The actual cost of each meal is more than $5, so you are invited to be as generous as you can with your donation. Donations are sent in with your meal order, so there is no need to provide anything at the restaurant other than your voucher.

How do I order more vouchers?

Complete and one of the CHEFS re-order forms and mail it to:
